Questions patients ask
My ankle still hurts weeks after a sprain. Is that normal?
It is common, and it usually means the joint is still stiff and the ankle has not relearned balance. Both can be treated. Persistent pain after a sprain is also checked for less obvious injuries.
How do I stop spraining the same ankle?
Rebuilding balance and the muscles on the outside of the ankle is the key. A short daily program over several weeks reduces repeat sprains for most people.
Does acupuncture help plantar fasciitis?
Acupuncture is one part of treatment for heel pain, alongside calf and foot stretching, footwear changes and loading advice. Most people improve with this combination over weeks.
Can I be treated in Korean?
Yes. Dr. Lee sees patients in Korean and English.
