Questions patients ask
I have hip arthritis. Can treatment delay a replacement?
For many people, strengthening, mobility work and acupuncture reduce pain and improve function for years. Replacement remains an option if the joint eventually limits daily life.
Why does my hip hurt when I lie on it at night?
That pattern often points to the bursa or gluteal tendons on the outside of the hip, which respond well to soft-tissue work, acupuncture and specific strengthening.
Is my hip pain actually from my back?
Sometimes. Buttock and thigh pain can come from the lumbar spine. The examination checks both so the right area is treated.
Can I be treated in Korean?
Yes. Dr. Lee sees patients in Korean and English.
